Tin (metal, not an alloy), known as Eeyam is used to make these vessels called Eeya Chombu. It has a low metling point and is easily malleable, hence requires care while handling and cooking. It is ideal for recipes using hin and wonderful for setting thick curd.
- Textiles, handloom and printed to be hand washed or dry cleaned only.
- Metal surfaces to be wiped clean with a dry cloth.
- Papier mache and painted surfaces to be dusted with a dry cloth.
- Cookware, serveware and tableware to be washed with mild soap and wiped dry.
